Rep. Raskin’s 2022 Congressional Art Competition Virtual Gallery
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Now in its 41st year, more than 650,000 high school students have participated since the competition’s inception in 1982.
The winner of the 2022 Congressional Art Competition for Maryland’s 8th District is Isabel Acuna Marin of Albert Einstein High School in Kensington. There are 25 runner-up honorees from Carroll, Frederick and Montgomery Counties. Over 130 high schoolers from 29 schools participated in this year’s 8th District competition.
Check out their amazing artwork below! And thanks not just to all these emerging young artists but their teachers and families and friends.
